About Medusa Studio

Medusa Studio is named for the mythological Gorgon who turned adversaries to stone with a single glance.

Beginning in the 80s, painting faux marbre and ashlar in office buildings and banks, our portfolio now encompasses all manner of murals and paint finishes in museums, galleries, boutiques, restaurants and private homes. Working in all paint and plaster media, we embrace both traditional and innovative technique, maintaining superior craftsmanship while executing the visions of architects, designers and private clients for projects both large and small, whimsical and dramatic, elegant and romantic; restoring and embellishing interiors throughout the United States and in Europe.

Whether creating an atmospheric vision of the vanishing tropical paradise of Kauai, a dramatic abstract collage evoking the fires & floods of revolutionary Cuba, the pastel art nouveau glamour of early 20th Century France, a Mexican brothel, a Peruvian ruin, an English pastoral, or a Japanese tea room, Medusa Studio researches and amalgamates imagery to provide a distinctive new backdrop for restaurants, living rooms and museum exhibitions
